Small Molecules
Browse this community by
The Small Molecules collection includes both biochemicals and organic chemicals. In biochemistry, we consider the monomers for building macromolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids and other polymer. We also include the small molecules involved in intermediary metabolism.
The organic chemistry section includes resources for studying stereochemistry. Of course, there is much overlap between biochemistry adn organic chemistry, as the sugars and amino acids are frequently studied in both disciplines.
