dc.description.abstractNTID's Master of Science in Secondary Education program, a deaf education teacher preparation program, recently was conferred Secondary Education Endorsement by the Council on Education of the Deaf. The council's members include the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf, Conference of Educational Administrators Serving the Deaf, Convention of American Instructors of the Deaf, Association of College Educators--Deaf and Hard of Hearing, National Association of the Deaf, and American Society for Deaf Children. In its endorsement, the CED board noted the particular strengths of the program and its importance in providing exceptionally well-prepared secondary teachers for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.en_US
