dc.description.abstractMatt Hamill, third-year electromechanical technology student from Loveland, Ohio, became RIT's first two-time national champion March 7. He won the 190-lb weight class wrestling championship in the NCAA Division III tournament and also was voted the most outstanding wrestler of the tournament. He was given the award for the most pins in the least time, with four falls in 5:38 minutes, pinning his final opponent in 1:47. Hamill won the 167-lb weight class championship and two gold medals at the World Games for the Deaf last year.en_US
