Stanley McKenzie was an RIT professor for 34 years before he was named provost and vice president for Academic Affairs in 1994. His prior administrative roles at RIT included director of judicial affairs, assistant to the provost, acting dean of the College of Liberal Arts and assistant to the vice president for judicial affairs. He joined the RIT faculty in 1967. McKenzie has a B.S. in science and humanities from MIT. He holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Rochester.
