Deaf student elected at RIT
Abstract
For the first time in its history, a deaf student has been elected president of Rochester Institute of Technology's student government.
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Sorkin, 24, a film/video and animation major at RIT, was elected Friday to represent RIT's 15,500 students. She
received about 80 percent of the vote.
