dc.description.abstract | Workflow management is an important part of scientific experiments. A common pattern that scientists
are using is based on repetitive job execution on a variety of different systems, and managing
such job execution is necessary for large-scale scientific workflows. The workflow system should also
be client-based and able to handle multiple security contexts to allow researchers to take advantage of
a diverse array of systems. We have developed, based on the Java Commodity Grid Kit (CoG Kit), a
sophisticated and extensible workflow system that seamlessly integrates with the queueing system Cobalt
through the advanced features provided by the CoG Kit. | |
