The development of a flow boiling map applicable to different fluids was reported by Kandlikar (1989). In the present paper, specific maps are presented for water, R-22 and R-134a in the saturated boiling region to serve as a quick design reference for calculating the two-phase flow boiling heat transfer coefficient. The maps are drawn for three values of Bo: 10^-4, 5x10^-4 and 10^-3, and cover a pressure range of 1.01 to 75 bar for water and a temperature range of 10 to -18 C for refrigerants R-22 and R-134a.en_US
