dc.description.abstract A method for measuring sheet electron beam emittance is developed. The effective emittances are obtained through construction of particle distribution in the transverse dimensions using slit- pinhole parameters. Measurement of a mild relativistic sheet electron beam is given as an illustration. The modified slit- pinhole method provides a simple means for characterizing sheet electron beam quality. en_US
